This is the new and improved National Council webpage! We hope to make this section of the website a place where we can be transparent about who we are, how we function, how we make decisions, and how to get involved.

The National Council is the board of SEAC. It makes all the decisions for the organization at NC meetings twice a year or on National Council Conference calls once a month. SEAC's National Council is selected each year by the previous year's council, and ranges from 7-20 members. The National Council helps guide the direction of SEAC.

The Student Environmental Action Coalition or SEAC is a grassroots coalition of student and youth environmental groups, working together to protect our planet and our future. Through this united effort, thousands of youth have translated their concern into action by sharing resources, building coalitions, and challenging the limited mainstream definition of environmental issues.
